Until Thursday I don?t really know how we got in as VIPs when we weren?t and they did not notice us. It was a night to remember I couldn?t believe I actually met Paula Abdul as she has my work now up on her wall. I was so excited I got in and hugged her and took a picture of her me and my sister with the portrait. She told the security people to please let me in because she wanted her drawing on her wall. I took the piece out of the portfolio and I yelled at Paula pull up please let me in I have this for you and I want to give it to you.
When we went to meet Paula at the end of the concert I wasn?t allowed to go in because Paula was not allowed to receive gifts. I couldn?t believe that we actually we?re going to go see Paula after the concert was over. We got it as VIPs without really realizing it until afterwards they saw our ticket that we were not VIPs and they not stop us. When we went inside to go to the concert somehow we got onto the wrong line of people and we ended up being in the line of VIPs. When we got there and we asked if we could give Paula a gift they said only VIPs can visit Paula at the concert. I took the piece with me to the concert to see if maybe I could give it to her even though I thought that was gonna be really impossible. I drew this and graphite and it took me 40 hours to complete. I was excited because I?m a fan of hers and decided to draw a portrait of Paula with her beloved chihuahua Bessy taking their tongue out. A few months later after he passed my sister invited me to go to see Paula Abdul in concert. After my 31 old nephew passed away three years ago from suicide I was not motivated to continue art.
